Curious, inquisitive and more.
Introduction
I am currently a Senior Service Performance Engineer at Akamai Technologies, Cambridge, MA. Prior to that, I was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of California Riverside from Nov. 2010 until Apr. 2014. I was a member of the Networks and Communications Laboratories working under the supervision of Dr. Srikanth Krishnamurthy. The focus of my research was on video communications over wireless networks. I received my PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Maryland, College Park, under the guidance of Dr. John S. Baras. My research focused on flow control issues in wireless networks.

My interests lie at the intersection of design, analysis and implementation of networked systems. I am also very interested in areas such as optimization and optimal control, stochastic processes and stochastic calculus and the application of this theory to problems that arise in networking.

I have a general interest in cloud computing, from time to time I get involved in web programming and have grown fond of Ruby.
