107 degrees proved to be too hot to work on setup.... but now it is only 79 degrees at midnight. Nice calm winds and a nearly full moon. Stage crew is essentially done and now it is time to do final prep for the show that starts tomorrow.
The 31st annual Reggae on the River starts TODAY!!!!
DJI Phantom 3 Professional

The day went ... well HOT and then the worst case scenario started to happen. We lost power this afternoon due to a nearby forest fire. Power came back about an hour ago and we are back on track trying to catch up and get some media redered for the morning.
Here is the stage about an hour before everyone had to quit and go home. There is a lot of catchup to do tomorrow but this crew will nail it. Well back to work trying to produce what we captured today....
Come join us and some very nice cars
Saturday night I should get to fly at the Feast of Lanterns in Pacific Grove.
The DJI #Phantom3 has Auto Takeoff which was very handy during this evening's shoot. While taking off I had to watch for people who kept walking over to us from the main party. Auto takeoff allowed me to focus on the safety hazard while the Phantom 3 Professional handles the takeoff on its own. After takeoff the drone will fly to 4 feet and hover awaiting your commands. It also has an auto Go Home and Land button.

Go check out their Facebook page and you can get a look at some of our work, Margo Krieger has been an excellent assistant and camping mate. None of this would work without her in my life. Time to get some sleep for me and to everyone reading this Good Morning!
Final packing stages for Reggae on the River in progress we should be outta here tonight sometime. Long drive we will probably do in 2 stages crashing in the van midway up 101, just past SF.
