Things are looking up in the iPad Pro department. I was lucky enough to pick up Apples iPad Pro keyboard at the Apple Store in Kansas yesterday. No pencils in sight. Hopefully we are about a week away from that shipment.

The Apple Watch is a little unruly when it comes to charging at night. Laying it on the table just doesn't seem to be the right thing. For $12 at Amazon, this little white plastic stand is doing a great job. I've seen much fancier Apple Watch stands going for as much is $100. But this little baby works for me

Perhaps the era of the electric vehicle is here. When they provide Tesla charging stations at a Bass Pro Shop in Independence Missouri, you know it's arrived.

Might I quote from previous "...why waste caloric energy on the thought process for someone like you..."    Ummm..... it seems you have wasted 48 hours worth of thought processing on people :-/
EV is the way of the future... fossil fuels, coal, wind power, and solar will still be needed to provide the power of these vehicles since energy can not come from nothing.   This means the necessity for our dependence on energy is then put back into our own hands.   Our environment will thank us in the future when everyone is driving a version of the EV (be it HEV, BEV, or other).   All EV needs energy and they have to obtain it from somewhere... the sooner people understand this the easier it is to swallow.   EV will take over mark my words, I have one and am never going back.   I also live in a state that is doing even better things for the environment and using solar power for almost all the energy I consume.    I by no means agree or disagree with the Global warming argument... but I know that hands down the EV is coming.   Lets just say it has TONS MORE power, acceleration, HP, and torque than my FULLY modified 1987 Mustang 5.0 stroked and bore'd.   Sorry to say you will be driving your fossil fuel clunker and paying for oil changes, transmission fluids, and coolants ... while us "sodomiser islam loving baby killing climate change religion" followers will be passing you on the highway with pockets full of cash.

(by the way the last quoted comment was extremely racist, and its sad there are people that feel this way....  that and it was hilariously horrid grammar... you must have spent your caloric processing and forgot them.. I completely understand)

After a lot of effort, I was finally able to get windows 10 installed on my windows 8.1 computer. All the research I did told me that this machine is compatible with windows 10 but windows did not agree. When the icon in the taskbar came up asking me to reserve windows 10 it allowed me to do it. But when I checked back it told me it was not compatible with my machine.

So I went ahead and downloaded the windows 10 install image, burned it to DVD, and ran the installer on the machine. Everything seems to work perfectly.

It's way too early do you know for sure but so far I'm really liking it. Windows 10 is much more Macintosh like. Kind of a cross between windows, the Mac, and an iPad. I think there's a lot of potential here for Microsoft. It'll take me a week or so to play with all the features and do my testing but so far I'm giving it a thumbs up.

Earlier this week, in effort to help a buddy pull data off of a very old Mac floppy disk, I have the opportunity to set up some old computers that he and I had around. I set up the cube that I had acquired from a client of mine in the last year, and he set up a dual floppy Macintosh SE. I pulled out an old SCSI hard disk drive and had it connected to The SE.

It was pretty amazing to see the difference in evolution of the operating system on these two old machines. The SE with its tiny black and white screen and line drawn interface, and the cube with a very early version of OS X. In a lot of ways, it's amazing these machines still run.
