Trying out the new Google+ for the second time ...and it still sucks.
The good:
Smooth animations, Material Design, lots of eye candy, better layout, etc.
The bad:
Missing features, touch-oriented blown-up interface, requires more clicks for navigation and actions, etc.
Let's see if I can live with these cons for a few days.

I got really excited when I tried the new Google+ design. I liked it in the beginning, but after a few days, I ended up switching back to the old one because it lacked a lot of features and behaved weirdly.
Also, the top bar is enormous compared to the old one which makes my 15.6" screen real estate even smaller.
So, in short, I hate it.
+Google, please don't force the users use it and disable it by default until it'll become nearly as useful as the old one.

In this week in 1993, CERN made a decision to release the WorldWideWeb source code – catapulting the World Wide Web into the public domain and triggering a series of events that means twenty-three years later we’re now able to share this with thousands of you through social media.
On 30 April 1993 CERN made the free software available to anyone, anywhere. The move had an immediate effect on the spread of the web. By late 1993, there were over 500 known web servers, by the end of 1994 there were 10,000, and 10 million users. Traffic was equivalent to shipping the collected works of Shakespeare every second.

A sticker from the last year's #SFDGeorgia on my laptop's lid. Still looks shiny.
