I loved this place. Was there by myself. The town is at the end of a 12 mile dirt road

I loved these Kawasaki's 2 stroke 750's.  I was a kid but I still remember the screaming sound of the engines.

In 1972 the Kawasaki 750 H2 triple, air-cooled, three-cylinder, two-stroke with two exhaust pipes exiting on the right side of the bike and one on the left became the undisputed king of the streets.  The mediocre frame design caused it to be nicknamed the "Widowmaker" by motorcycle enthusiasts.   I loved this bike but was too young to own one.

These photos are from my trip to Motorcyclepedia in NY state.

Two beauties from Honda.  The 350F was "the smallest capacity multi-cylinder motorcycle ever to enter into full-scale production.  It was a fun little bike.  The CB750 is often called the first superbike.

Those were great bikes---very smooth-I rode a 400-4 in 1974 and a 550-4 they should have kept them ! !

It would be a very difficult choice if given the option to take one home.

I'd take the blue one because I love two-strokes.

+George Ferreira I've been on it all the way to Montrose from Phoenix, a bunch of times. I've never gotten to ride it though. But that may change this summer.

Gotta love the sound of a rotary engine and the smell of burned oil :-)

The 1975 Suzuki RE5 was one of the few Wankel engined motorcycles ever produced.  The advantage of the rotary engine was high power figures from relatively small displacements.  The RE5 was shown as the future of motorcycle engines but rotary's were soon abandoned.

Who remembers these?  I have good memories of the wailing sounds they made.  Alas, I was too young to own one.

The Suzuki GT750, a water-cooled three-cylinder two-stroke motorcycle, was the first Japanese motorcycle with a liquid-cooled engine.  It was nicknamed the "Kettle" in Britain and the "Water Buffalo" in the United States.  I still have fond memories of the screaming sound they made.

+George Ferreira I think that water radiator was worse than the rear light. The rear light could at least be replaced :)
