+Jimbo Jones - He can rest now, he just proves he does not even look up the facts of his own arguments! This isn't about 'opinion,' this is about someone who states things that are absolutely wrong, total hogwash and makes an argument from total ignorance! The PAK-FA is 'too big'? It's smaller than any Su-27 design! I cannot believe he said that!

I tried to be nice to him, meet him half-way, but he's literally shooting-from-the-hip and taking the first Google search he finds. Not good against someone who worked for Boeing, NASA and a few others developing avionics (and you cannot be ignorant of dynamics with today's avionics), packaging and BOM (this is something airchair engineers overlook), 6DoF simulation (ever wonder why Fortran has always supported 7 dimensions? ;)) and realted standards, including what is used for actual aircraft design (including CATIA, Pro/E CAM, etc...).

Two Russian aircraft fell into the Mediterranean while trying to land on the Admiral Kuznetsov during Syria's campaign. The pilots were saved in both cases. The Kuznetsov is Russia's sole aircraft carrier.

I'm assuming it dropped 2 engines since there's 4 pairs of engines. Must be nice to have 8 engines
The incident occurred during a training flight near Minot Air Force Base and no injuries were reported.

+Chris Vanvuuren it does better on gas with turbo prop. But they need to look into lighter material

Alonso is my kind of driver and the best driver currently in Formula 1. He says what I have been saying about the state of F1 cars. This preservation of equipment to win is counter to what I think F1 should be.
He has repeatedly made it clear that the tyre and fuel preservation which have become a part of modern F1 do not excite him
Valtteri Bottas has landed the coveted Mercedes seat for this year but it could open up for some big names in 2018.

All the experts say the F-18 Super Hornet can't do the job of the F-35 but while that may be the case the F-18 Advanced Super Hornet proposed by Boeing could still be one of the most capable aircraft and able to fight successfully against any of the latest Russian or Chinese fighters.

Wow, almost everything I said 2 years ago should be done to F1 cars will now be done. When I called the new F1 cars stupid I got flak. Now in 2017 they will have wider tires, bigger wings, cars will be wider and longer. Now if they would only listen to me and get rid of the stupid tiny turbo engine and sound and most electric gadgetry, F1 would be a sport worthwhile watching again.
Wider cars, fatter tyres and shattered lap times - F1 gears up for radical changes in the new season.

The Ajax is a light reconnaissance tank which carries a 40mm automatic cannon and machine gun in its turret
Two versions of the vehicle took part in the tests which were carried out at a range in West Wales over the summer

Does it equip with guided missiles? Cause 40 mm is not effective enough when it face main battle tanks.

Introduction
Born in Mozambique, lived in South Africa and Portugal for a while, now living and enjoying life in the USA.  I have been a systems engineer and IT consultant since leaving college with project management and leadership skills in the banking business.

I have started a successful photography business since photography has been my passion from young age.

Motorcycle adventure off the beaten path and capturing the world in photos is what drives me now.

I comment and write about anything that I find interesting.

Bragging rights
Not bragging, just facts. Crossed the USA both ways, rode as far north and south as possible on the east coast of North America (Gaspe, Quebec and Key West, Florida) and rode to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska, all by motorcycle
