This shows how Glass can be uniquely useful anywhere by combining multiple capabilities (not just photography or note taking or communication) in an always ready and hands-free fashion.

Meet Sabita Malla, Glass Explorer and senior research officer for +World Wildlife Fund Nepal. Celebrate #EarthDay with Sabita as she explores how Glass can help in her mission to protect rhinos.

Sabita uses custom Field Notes Glassware, software that was developed by a Glass Explorer who wanted to help WWF cut in half the work required to manage field conservation efforts. Sabita’s team is one of five nonprofits exploring how Glass might amplify their impact as part of Giving through Glass, a program we launched a few months ago in partnership with

We’re extending the program for another round starting today. Nonprofits can apply now through May 20 at Five nonprofits will win: Glass, a $25,000 grant, a trip to a Google office and a connection to Glass developers.

And if you’re a Glass developer who wants to partner with a nonprofit and code for impact, sign up now at

+George Cohn I have crappy sinus' and have had them operated on three times. The sphenoidal sinus area is very close to the optic nerve and docs avoid the area. Increased precision in medical is what I wish for..for everyone - especially children.

Oh man! I remember this song being the greatest hit in my elementary school when I was younger! haha! Once one person started singing it, everybody else would start singing it too. haha! Good times  :-)  I love this song!

Interesting back story of a guy with a rare gift of imagination, resolve, and the ability to make things happen.

An amazing collection of old photos, including a single-wheel motorcycle and a whisky dispensing machine for the office.
The first ever selfie was taken in 1839...woahhhhh and I wonder why the TV glasses never took off!

+Gary Ray R yeah I was looking at those pulleys earlier today. I'm looking to rig up something to raise my bicycles into the upper area of the garage. You can buy systems like that off the shelf pretty cheap, but I bet you can make something a lot cooler.

I am likely to post on just about any subject that catches my eye.  I love to laugh, and I have a weird sense of humor and can come off as irreverent.  If that's a problem then don't circle me.

If you want me to remove you from my circles, simply indicate you're not interested in engagement by making a public post and disallowing comments.

I've been going to King Wah regularly for years. This is one of treasures of Silicon Valley. The food is excellent, fresh, plentiful, and inexpensive. The decor is minimal, so if you're looking for atmosphere, you need to keep looking. They have a broad menu, but specialize in noodle dishes. The chow meins come in 2 varieties: soft noodle, and "hong kong style" which is a thin semi-crispy wheat noodle. They are flexible, modifying a recipe is no problem. Every dish comes to you looking like it ought to be on a magazine cover. Unfortunately the CFL lighting has a green-yellow cast and none of my android phone camera photographs look very good.
