This week's Google+ Help Weekly Roundup, this time authored by Yours Truly!

Google+ Help’s 3 Hottest Questions of the Week
Engagement, Photos to albums, Larger images in posts

Hey everyone! Time for the latest Google+ Help Weekly Round-Up where the top trending questions of the week are answered!

It’s been a busy week, with lots of interesting topics. The three I've chosen here are great, but there are lots more out there. I encourage everyone to look through the discussions in this community, there’s a lot of information out there.

1) Suppose you’re a blogger, and new to G+. What’s the best strategy to get traction and engagement? Public posts? Posts to Communities? Both? And if so, in what order? That’s what +Karie-Ann Cooper wanted to know about, and +Alex Garcia and +John Skeats provided a wealth of advice, including tips about how not to appear spammy.

See the full post here:

2) +Rj Cuaresma asked how to upload photos directly to specific albums using his mobile. +Kamal Tailor recommended using autobackup to upload the photos, and then move them to albums once they’ve been uploaded.

See the full post here:

3) +Katt Mamma was wondering how to share Blogger posts and consistently have a good looking photo in the result. +Peggy K and +David Kutcher both jumped in to help sort out what triggers the system to use larger images in posts. David did some subsequent research that I suspect resulted in this post from him

See +Katt Mamma's original post here:

► Tip of the Week
Did you know you can submit feedback directly to Google? You may not get an individual reply or follow-up as a result, but the team will definitely look at it. This is extremely helpful, because they can’t fix what they don’t know about.

When you do give feedback, it needs to be more than just saying “this isn't working”. You need to give them enough information to describe the problem in detail so that they can understand and reproduce it.
+Jaana Nyström provides the basic guidelines in this post:

Thanks everyone for all of your questions and insights this week, and special thanks to everyone who helped respond to these trending topics. Make sure to check back again next week when +Kim Beasley will help highlight the best questions and answers on the community.

+Debrah Diva if you wear Glass for for a day you understand how little basis there is for most of people's fears. I think a lot of is rationalized, the real source of the negativity is coming from elsewhere.

What the F is Sugru?
A friend of mine (+Nicolas Sammut Linares) just showed me this video and I am pretty impressed by this. I ordered a pack straight away. I don't know what I will fix yet, but I will definitely put this +sugru stuff to the test.

+George Cohn, have seen both happening several times during my lifetime.

I know about Sugru for quite a while, because it became rather popular among fine scale model builders and H0 train gamers like me.

Bee beard world record?

According to this, the world record for bee beards is 99 pounds. If the bees are clinging to their entire bodies and not just their faces, can we still call them beards? I call it cheating.

I am likely to post on just about any subject that catches my eye.  I love to laugh, and I have a weird sense of humor and can come off as irreverent.  If that's a problem then don't circle me.

If you want me to remove you from my circles, simply indicate you're not interested in engagement by making a public post and disallowing comments.

I've been going to King Wah regularly for years. This is one of treasures of Silicon Valley. The food is excellent, fresh, plentiful, and inexpensive. The decor is minimal, so if you're looking for atmosphere, you need to keep looking. They have a broad menu, but specialize in noodle dishes. The chow meins come in 2 varieties: soft noodle, and "hong kong style" which is a thin semi-crispy wheat noodle. They are flexible, modifying a recipe is no problem. Every dish comes to you looking like it ought to be on a magazine cover. Unfortunately the CFL lighting has a green-yellow cast and none of my android phone camera photographs look very good.
