It is pitch dark in the model airplane factory. If you proceed you will likely be eaten by a sprue.

How is this position defensible for black? The tsumego (from Gobandroid) says b18 is the correct last move but I don't understand why; I can't find any way to keep white from forming two eyes.

Pattycake, pattycake, space baker man!
Bake me a space cake as fast as you can.
Load it up and launch it with a lot of delta-V,
And park it in an orbit for the baby and me.

Anybody else get shown this classic in your intro programming classes?
(And does anybody else wish they had a real-life Magic Wand of Dereferencing??)

Google Now is handing me cards that I don't want based on things I've "shown interest in". For instance, stories about a certain person who is trying to get chosen to be the boss of the USA... I'm not typing a name here or he'll NEVER go away from my news feed(!), but I want to edit my search information and remove specific keywords so they stop pulling in junk recommendations. Does anyone know how to do this?

Consider also, the lesser-known 'increment-and-decrement' operator, x+-, which increments the value of x, evaluates to the incremented amounT, and then decRements x back tO its originaL vaLue.

As an excercise, explain the steps taken to evaluate this simple expression:

x+- == x+- -1 ? ++x : x

I like them better when they look like Git commit history.

This made me very happy.

Upgraded today to Windows Git 2.5.0 (from msys Git 1.6.something) and now I can't rebase. A question on SO hints at a Git installation conflict:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11292057/git-windows-git-pull-cannot-be-used-without-a-working-tree
...but I have removed the prior version, including one straggler DLL after a reboot, and don't have any environment variables pointing places they shouldn't.

The only twist I can think of is that I'm using a separate Git directory from the working tree, but other commands (checkout, add, commit, diff...) work. Only git-am seems to be unhappy.

Console output follows:
>
>C:\core\guidewire\Dev\2.4>git checkout fhcf-assumptiondate
>Already on 'fhcf-assumptiondate'
>
>C:\core\guidewire\Dev\2.4>git rebase master
>First, rewinding head to replay your work on top of it...
>fatal: C:\Program Files\Git\mingw64/libexec/git-core\git-am cannot be used without a working tree.

I looked in the git-sh-setup script which appears to be the only place that 'working tree' message appears (although with compiled binaries I can't be sure), and there's a test using 'rev-parse --is-inside-work-tree'. So I made sure I'm under the folder with .git in it, and:

>C:\core\guidewire\Dev\2.4>dir .git
> Volume in drive C is System (Local)
> Volume Serial Number is D4EC-4ED4
>
> Directory of C:\core\guidewire\Dev\2.4
>
>08/04/2015  21:16                27 .git
>               1 File(s)             27 bytes
>               0 Dir(s)  155,451,965,440 bytes free
>
>C:\core\guidewire\Dev\2.4>git rev-parse --is-inside-work-tree
>false

...Yeah, that's not right. Where should I look next?
