Smooth, professional experience! I was greeted upon entering by staff, only had to wait 10 minutes until seen by the RN, and then soon after, the MD. Everyone was personable, was provided clear and simple medical instructions, and was billed appropriately (i.e., they didn't upcode my treatment or overbilled my insurance like another 'Urgent Care' unit in a nearby hospital. New, clean facilities, with ample parking (they even validate it for you). Highly recommended.

Very tasty brunch! A solid brunch choice in the neighborhood that isn't a diner or requires at least an hour wait.

First off, I hate having my picture taken -- and Lisa was so amazing and patient with me. I had to get a set of professional headshots done for work and she took her time (2 hours worth of photos) to ensure she got the job done right -- each with a different look, and feel. I love that she didn't just give me the cookie cutter professional headshot -- she made sure I was happy with the set that I got, all so beautiful that I keep getting compliments from it. Well worth the money! Definitely highly recommended.

Came for Saturday brunch based on new York times recommendation. Atmosphere was delightful, and we were able to sit outside on a beautiful spring day. Unfortunately, the coffee was average, the kitchen was slow, and the food ranged from mediocre to forgettable. For the price, we expect more. Will not return.

Traveled 2 hours from Manhattan (subway service delays) each way and the food at Purple Yam was totally worth it. If you are expecting very traditional Filipino food, perhaps this isn't the place for you. What makes this place special is they serve Filipino food with a twist (influences of Korean, Malay, and other Asian influences) -- and boy do they get it right. While the portion sizes aren't large, this is New York City, and I would say their portions are reasonable for the price (for NYC standards). The desserts are the BEST. Period. You can't go wrong with any of them. Overall, fantastic restaurant. Just make sure you know what kind of Filipino restaurant you're signing up for (to manage your own expectation).
