Did You Know... Mars is more rust than red?
In Roman mythology, Mars is the god of war so some associate its color to a blood red.

But on a more scientific note, the planet Mars actually appears to be a rusty-red color because it is covered in iron-oxide which is the same element that gives red and rust their color. Learn more – www.space.com/16999-mars-red-planet.html

In 1959 #GeneralColor began producing dry color pigments for use in thermoplastic resins, and it continues to be one of our most important areas of business today, especially for our customers in the rotational molding industry.

Our #DryColorPowder can be prepared in bulk, or "unitized" to color a set amount of resin, depending on your particular application. The small minimum order quantities, 5 pounds or 5 units, and the lack of extrusion processing makes dry color a more straightforward and economical approach to coloring plastics. #ObscureColor – Verdigris Green... Verdigris came into English in the 14th century from the Anglo-French vert de Grece, which literally means, "green of Greece." Ancient Greeks manufactured this pigment by hanging copper plates over hot vinegar in a sealed container.

When copper naturally oxidizes, a verdigris green film forms on its surface: For example, as on the Statue of Liberty.
