Just in time for Labor Day weekend. I know what I'm doing!!
If you really want a little chill with your Netflix, the service just added a bunch of “slow TV” shows, things like long train rides through the countryside, relaxing views of canal rides, crackling fireplaces, quiet video of people knitting, and so on. They’re all things you can put on in the background while you work, focus, or just relax.

Of course! Why wouldn't companies want to be deceitful on a simple, healthy food?? UGH
Here are some tips on finding the real stuff.

Yeah I read a tad of this yesterday. I might be switching to Project Fi and let Madison stay on VZ because she loves her iPhone.

Great article! I loved the analogies used. One in particular: What if suddenly the fear of flying was so common in the world "that parents who are seen trying to board a plane with their children are charged with child abuse, even though flying is actually not very dangerous".

People are way too into other people's business, looking to "save" a child that isn't in any real danger. The sad thing is, the law will step in and jail the parent and remove the child from their home over a perception of danger, when there is in fact, none. Great points. Worth the read!
Tania Lombrozo looks at research published Monday showing people's factual judgment of how much danger a child is in while a parent is away varies according to the extent of their moral outrage.

So smart. I was wondering when gaming companies would start competing with emulators.
The NES Classic Edition will sell for $59.99

If you have Android version 6 and newer and you haven't played with Google Now On Tap, you're doing it wrong.

I use it for those times where someone texts me a number or address and instead of that copy/paste shuffle, hold the home button and Now On Tap will pop up actions for info there. That's just a small piece...
Google's Goggles is all but abandoned now. We've seen Google resurrect apps from the dead and update them after years of neglect, but it's hard to imagine... by Rita El Khoury in Editorials, Google, News

Seems like a neat project. :)
Smart mirrors have been all the rage this year, and it looks like Microsoft’s getting into the game too. While Microsoft’s mirror is teased as a commercial product, they’ve released the source code if you’re interested in making one for yourself.

Come check out this place if you're in Portland. Some great history in there. It's high up, so you also get a good view of the city. Tons of unique flowers and plants throughout the gardens. The mansion is amazing. A great experience to walk through time and see how people used to live. Some great tech throughout the mansion as well. I can't believe they had lights and switches back then! Also, a type of intercom system?? Go check it out.

Friendly and professional. Didn't keep me waiting like some of the other Enterprise offices I've been to.

Great pizza! Raspberry chipotle wings are so tasty! Ask for them double baked. You're welcome. Great beer selection. I know they have to rotate them often, which makes it nice to try new things, but sucks when you find something you really enjoy.

Love the atmosphere. If you're wondering about the meat plate, pass on it. Unless you're into pet food. Then get it. Maybe it's too fancy for me. There's a bone cut in half (marrow), reduced pork (reminded me of dried canned tuna), pureed oysters (smelled like my friends' wet retriever, although tasted decent), and a small slice of cow tongue (which is actually really good, but I've had that before). If you do get the meat plate, lick the tongue for an interesting reaction from the table. Great selection. If you can think it, they have it.
