GDquest got accepted!
I've got a spot in a business incubator starting on Monday, for up to 2 years. With a business that supports open source programs. I can tell you there was some skepticism regarding my ability to just make a living off it, and rightly so ^^. But still, they're giving GDquest a chance.
It's been a lot of work getting there, and it has delayed production. Thank you BIG TIME for your patience. I'm moving into the office next week, and I'll do a news video from there to explain what'll happen next, to talk about the upcoming FOSDEM and Godot conference in Brussels, where we can meet next month, etc.

WOOHOO!

New tutorial: learn the game art process! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGfeXRlxn9A
PigDev and I decided to create 2 videos about the creation of a small game. This is the first part to come out, and the next one will follow tomorrow.
This is the first collab video on the channel, so please tell us if you like it! There's another one we made with Borodante, coming out next.

How to code for the Godot Game Engine in Visual Studio Code: https://youtu.be/nPV_qXu1rkg
Thanks to Geequlim, there's now a dedicated VSCode extension called "Godot Tools" that greatly improves GDscript programming in this powerful open source editor. It's my application of choice for programming, and I'll show you why in this week's video.

I got the keys to GDquest's office this morning. Contract signed, moving in at the end of the week.
Now I have a proper workplace, I'm moving the focus back to Game Art Quest. From this week, and until it's complete, I'll update it every Thursday, along with the weekly video release on the Youtube channel. And right now, I'm taking care of the hardest video to make in the whole training, about Value and Color contrast. I'll keep you posted with my progress every week!

Painting a Voodoo Doll with Borodante: https://youtu.be/yVNOpMMbeNk
This week's video is quite special. We made an art challenge with Borodante, a proactive concept artist who worked in the film industry. We both sketched a voodoo doll, then exchanged our drawings and painted over each other's work. That was back in December, and we decided to release 2 videos based off that. Please tell us what you think in the comments! Would you like to see more time-lapses like these?

There's only so much you can do with 24 markers, but it works ok if you just use touches of color.
