Parval Fry

Paraval - Parval - Pottolo - Potols all these Indian names refer to Pointed Gourd vegetable, which is available in most parts of the country except deep South India. When we try to describe them this vegetable they often mistake it to for Kundru (Dondakaya in Telugu).

This Parval vegetable can be fried and enjoyed as an accompaniment to a gravy dish like Dal - Sambar - Kadi etc. We can't order it in hotels / restaurant, because at-least I haven't seen it in the menu of any restaurant.
