This is an interesting development that I' trying to remember if I've seen before in my career. Has anybody seen an example of a similar business move?

Great article on potential damages from short term thinking and nice segue to promote The Long Now Foundation which was organized to promote long term thinking. The site has reams of talks by the leading thinkers of the world.

One not only needs to quit fighting change but learn to embrace it as an ever increasing fact of life.
How to learn is changing, and it's changing fast. In the past, we used to learn by doing — we called them apprenticeships. Then the model shifted, and we learned... read more

This is a perfect example of outright discrimination of the sexes. How would anyone know which sex authored a book unless they put their name on it or intentionally noted in the book that they were a man or woman? Just nonsense...!!
The plan made me feel dishonest and creepy, so it took me a long time to send my novel out under a man’s name. But each time I read a study about unconscious bias, I got a little closer to trying it.

Driven to constantly grow in all areas, succeed at my job with integrity and solid ethics while contributing to the greater good for all.
I am in the business and IT consulting industry  in the role of selling Oracle's Advanced Customer Services to our Strategic Accounts. I am very technology literate not only from working in the industry but from the first time I got a 386 computer and taking it apart to find out what made it work and tweaking it to improve it functionality going forward.

I have been a voracious reader ever since I can remember so see this interest in computers as an extension of data and information access and how to leverage the same to everyone's best interests.
