The passage of a couple of centuries, that included becoming a tennis court for a while, have altered things, but the name stuck.

Brilliant...
There’s no need for George Osborne to say sorry for trying to cut money to the disabled: he says it was a genuine mistake, and he couldn’t possibly know that cutting money to the disabled would lead to the disabled being poorer in any way.

The sweet irony of a Microsoft article talking about cloud computing reducing time spent on updates etc.

I'm sure this could be adapted and much better positioned as advocating ChromeOS.

+Cathy B. Yes, my Dad had a WebTV too, and now a Chromebook. He is far from tech savvy as well.

As far as the members at the forum, not to worry, we wouldn't want anyone to "leave" their home there. :) But they should always feel welcome here as well. Most members in the Chromebooks community are very welcoming and we all remember when we got our first Chromebook too. But of course I know, baby steps. :)

It's not every day the Chief Fire Officer of Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service presents me with one of these...

Now if only there was an equivalent for email!

Coo, I'm happy with that.
I now have 2.21TB of space.
And, er, 1% used. Ahem.

Yup - those quickly add up. Getting to level 5 is going to take some doing - 500 points.
I note the Local Guides website mentions an Level 4 annual thank you - I can't imagine it will be 1TB free for two years given every year - that would start to mount up really quickly!!
