By volume not by revenue or profits obviously...
And only in the US...

Aren't stats a wonderful thing?
2016 just might be the year of the Linux desktop.

Superb news.
Things just keep getting better...
Better offline features and more apps could make ChromeOS way more powerful.

Slightly off topic but i thought you'd be the folks in the know...
My current second generation N7 has earned a retirement.

Can anyone recommend an Android 7" tablet that is as near to stock as a Nexus.
And has prompt OS updates.

Actual performance isn't too critical as I mainly use it to view documents created elsewhere.

If not I'll simply use my N6, but the N7's slightly larger screen and lower resolution is easier on my old eyes.

Thanks in anticipation...

+Matt Vokes thanks for the recommendation.
I heard the Shields had a recall so gave them a wide berth.
Gaming on anything other than a PC isn't my thing - too old to retrain my tired head away from keyboard and mouse.
But now I know they are updated well I'll consider them afresh if +Taz Hoque 's suggestions don't work out.

If you're serious about music you might want to think twice before taking out an Apple Music subscription.
“The software is functioning as intended,” said Amber. “Wait,” I asked, “so it’s supposed to delete my personal files from my internal hard drive without asking my permission?” “Yes,” she replied. …

Farewell Windows Phone* we never knew you.

*Or whatever you're called this week.
Worldwide smartphone sales increased by nearly 4 percent in the recent quarter, but Microsoft's Windows Phone OS failed to capitalize on the growth and dropped below 1 percent market share. G...

After today - who would buy a WP10 device?
Nokia should have switched to Android, dumped Elop and told Microsoft to get stuffed. What a monumental tragedy.

A couple of solid app updates from Google.
Drive now shows uploads in the recent list.
Not a big change but really helpful.

Google Keyboard now includes cursor control via the space bar - now THAT had been on my wish list since I sold my HTC Desire.
And a dedicated number pad - that'll be handy for spreadsheet work.
Words in the personal dictionary can be removed by long pressing on them.

What made it even better was the two child seats in the back.

A good pint of beer but the food was a bit pricy for me. Very popular with the locals though so must be worth a try.

Lovely large green to take a stroll, walk a dog (please bag it and bin it) of simply sit in the sun with friends and watch the world go by. Often plays host to the Fun Fair.

Maybe it was a quiet day of the week but I could have sworn I saw tumbleweed. The contrast Ruth the British Lion which was bursting with life couldn't have been more stark the evening we visited.

Brilliant park close to the centre of town. Lots of equipment for children of all ages to play on. Areas to explore nature. Space to play ball games. Tennis court. Quiet spots to sit and chill. Lovely café with Fairtrade products. Avairy. Off street parking. No vandalism.

Fantastic new addition to Devizes' vibrant coffee shop scene. A unique offering with tasteful decor, an imaginative menu and staff where nothing is too much trouble. I'll be coming back.

If you like beer and a pub with lots of character(s) this is the place for you. If you want to watch football or the news on mute and drink lager with the kids go to Wetherspoons.
