A fantastic coastline but a testing little walk!

It's an incredibly scenic stretch of coast :)
Though for the lazy, you can park relatively near the top of Durdle Door, though it's still a very steep and long climb down to the beach. Or if you're even lazier and in the summer, you can get on one of the regular ferries from Lulworth cove!

Hi Rupert, Clearance Diver  (or CD) is the name given to divers in the Royal Navy's diving branch.  At any one time there are about 350 serving members which I believe makes it the smallest branch in the navy.

The name comes from their Mine Clearance role but other specialisms include bomb disposal , underwater attack swimming, ships repair and maintenance, submarine rescue, ship salvage... In fact anything underwater or diving related roles that may be required by the Royal Navy. Divers are qualified to dive on any diving apparatus and also conduct experimental dives to test new equipment and diving tables, but are most associated with the closed circuit diving sets (rebreathers) that are used for underwater attacks and during mine disposal work.

You may have heard of "Buster Crabb" a legendary member of our branch who conducted some remarkable roles during the second world war: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lionel_Crabb .

Best greens that I've seen anywhere for a long time at Moors Valley Golf Course. All 18 were absolutely faultless.....unlike my putting!

Hmmm, this doesn't sound like a good deal for the customer [ie: Students]. I wonder what the cost of university education actually equates to if judged per hour of contact time.
Value for money? I suspect not!
University lecturers devote less time to teaching now their students are paying £9,000 a year for courses than they did when tuition was free, the universities minister, David Willetts, reveals today.
