Any mathematically inclined folk want to help me figure out triality automorphisms for the split octonions?

Terry Bollinger: I second trying to get John Baez interested, I seem to recall him looking deeply into split octonions.
Refurio Anachro: I had the impulse to stand up, wave, and yell "me, hello"! But that wouldn't be too helpful. I don't know much (forgetting too quickly what I learn), and I'm too busy. All I could tell you would be from John's posts anyway. About the links you get searching google:
The ones on his ucr page are tidy, and probably well updated. Some of the related discussions at the n-category cafe were nice, too. Searching for him and octonions here on g+ might also be an idea.
My shortcomings aside I would like to try again and get at this stuff, maybe even surviving to the end this time. Is there any chance that you, +Garrett Lisi, 'd post explorative notes here?
