Why has not one single exec at Goldman Sachs been put behind bars for this and their role in the sub-prime crisis that led to 2008? http://america.aljazeera.com/blogs/scrutineer/2015/7/14/did-wall-street-enable-greek-debt-crisis.html
Goldman Sachs used tools of the financial trade to obscure Greek debt, allowing euro entry and more bad loans

Great blog, and it clearly shows SNP not only a danger to Scotland but the UK as a whole.

With Great Fiscal Power Comes Great Fiscal Responsibility
The issue of "further powers" for Holyrood was discussed at Bute House on Friday when our Conservative Prime Minister met with our SNP First Minister. This picture is a stark illustration that those who argued "vote SNP and get a Tory government" might just...

Apart from Spain, other European nations have taken a giant step toward considering bitcoin as a legal medium of payment, or at least as a complementary currency. These countries include Germany, the United Kingdom, France, Finland and Belgium.
The General Directorate of Taxes (DGT) has announced that virtual currencies such as bitcoin will be exempt from value-added tax (VAT) in Spain

Sometimes, maybe not often, politics is too important to leave to the professionals and the deeply unrepresentative minority of party activists and campaigners.

Directly after the Charlie Hebdo massacre, we cautioned the public and politicians to be "wary of any attempt to rush through new surveillance and law enforcement powers." With depressing predictability, we've already seen that happen

Could an IBM mainframe from the 1960s mine Bitcoin? The idea seemed crazy, so I decided to find out. I implemented the Bitcoin hash algorithm in assembly code for the IBM 1401 and tested it on a working vintage mainframe. It ...

Google and Square announced Thursday that they were working on new payment systems that would be able to accept Bitcoin. The move is expected to heat things up in the payments market in general, and with Apple Pay, in particular. Google is currently testing the new payment processing method that will be known as Plaso while Square is working on the hardware terminals.

Good food let down by the fact its staffed by teenagers who try their best but with no experience and no manager or owner within sight. Meal tonight was a joke, we were sent the wrong starter, the wrong side and the serving staff simply had no idea.

Nice to have an authentic Korean restaurant in Edinburgh at last! The food is really good and spicy, they have resisted the temptation to dumb it down for the British palate, a lot of the kimchi based dishes really are quite hot. Regardless of whether you eat Lunch or Dinner here they always bring a small tray of appetizers so its easy to end up eating a lot of food. Try the Hotpot with kimchi, pork and tofu, you won't be disappointed.

The positive, the food was tasty and hot. However these pluses were tempered by three things, the plates were cold (lets face it this is restaurant 101), there was no black pepper on the table (white pepper should've died with the 70's) and my partners salmon on scrambled eggs was good, but why serve hot scrambled eggs with fridge cold salmon on top? Surely not a big deal to bring the salmon to room temperature before serving. So a mixed bag really.

When the Leith restaurant first opened it was great and I sent quite a few friends down there to eat, it was also extremely busy. The food is good and certainly seems to make an attempt to be more authentic, the big problem though in the last few months is it has been a victim of its own success. My last visit and the visits of recent friends have all been marred by service problems, enough that I no longer can recommend it.
