An enhanced progressive tax code does not affect the poor or middle class, only the rich
Incomes in excess of $250,000 per year (only the richest few percent of Americans) will be subject to a slightly higher rate. Income beyond $10,000,000 per year will be taxed at a modest 52% rate, which is still nearly 10% UNDER the average top marginal tax rate in America since 1917.  http://newsjunkiepost.com/2010/11/22/the-top-tax-rate-is-27-below-us-historical-average/

Tax cuts for the rich and big corporations has caused the vast majority of America's national debt. We need to raise revenue on the people that have taken nearly all the new wealth in America over the last generation.

A message from Bernie Sanders for MLK Jr's Birthday
"I think as we reflect back on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., certainly one of the great leaders in American history, we understand that on one hand we have come a very very, long way in achieving his vision of a country in which there’s far more racial justice today than there was in his lifetime. Many of the barriers of segregation have been broken. We should be proud of those accomplishments.

But on the other hand let us not forget that what Dr. King was talking about was not only racial justice, he was talking about economic justice. When he was assassinated in Memphis, Tennessee, he was there working with mostly African-American garbage collectors, people being exploited, people earning inadequate wages, people who had terrible working conditions and he said they deserve justice.

At a time when we have an almost record number of Americans living in poverty, obscene levels of income and wealth inequality and millions working longer hours for lower pay, we still have much to learn from Dr. King’s extraordinary life."

14 Greatest Bernie Quotes from Saturday's Debate

1) “I'm not that much of a socialist compared to Eisenhower.”

2) “Over the next few years.. we have got to move the minimum wage to a living wage. And I apologize to nobody for that.

3) “Why, over her political career, has Wall Street been.. the major campaign contributor to Hillary Clinton? Maybe they're dumb and they don't know what they're going to get, but I don't think so.

4) “If Teddy Roosevelt, a good Republican, were alive today, you know what he'd say [to the banks who are too big to fail]? ‘Break them up.’"

5) “I have never heard a candidate… who has received huge amounts of money from oil, from coal, from Wall Street, from the military industrial complex... say, oh, these campaign contributions will not influence me. I'm going to be independent. Well, why do they make millions of dollars of campaign contributions? They expect to get something. Everybody knows that.”

6)  “You said.. the donations to Secretary Clinton are compromising. So what did you think of her answer?”
Not good enough.

7) “Wall Street played by the rules? Who are we kidding? The business model of Wall Street is fraud. That's what it is.”

8) “Here's my promise — Wall Street representatives will not be in my cabinet.”

9) “The problem is people all over this country -- not you, Secretary Clinton -- are shouting at each other.”

10) “I think [the Secretary] said something like the bulk of the responsibility is not ours. Well, in fact, I would argue that the disastrous invasion of Iraq, something that I strongly opposed, has unraveled the region completely and led to the rise of al-Qaeda and to ISIS.”

11) “I am running a campaign differently than any other candidate. We are relying on small campaign donors, 750,000 of them, 30 bucks a piece. That's who I'm indebted to.

12) “It is not a radical idea to say that if somebody works 40 hours a week, that person should not be living in poverty.”

13) "Climate change is directly related to the rise of global terrorism." Nations will start "struggling over limited amounts of water, limited amounts of land to grow their crops, and you're going to see all kinds of international conflict."

14) — “Let's say you're elected president. Congratulations.” —

“Thank you. Looking forward to it.”

Rewatch the original Star Wars just in time before The Force Awakens:

Since 1997, George Lucas has been hell bent on ruining the original Star Wars trilogy. Every new release—in theaters, on DVD, and on Blu-Ray—comes with more added garbage than the last. This fan-made version of the original trilogy is the best version of Star Wars you can watch.

ok Google, play some music I can dance to

From Android Auto, to Android Wear, to your phone, tablet, or even your desktop or laptop, Google Play music is currently and has been since launch back in 2011, my favorite music streaming service.

Years ago I tried Pandora. When Spotify first came to the USA, I gave them a try. I haven't used any other service since though. For me, there's no need. Nothing compares to the availability, flexibility, and fits my listening habits better than Google Play Music.

Here's a new video that was pushed to YouTube.

Happy jamming!

The decor was pretty good, the food was pretty good, but the waitress we had was unfortunately sub-par. The only reason why I am rating this visit a 5 star is because of how the manager handled it. I think his name was Clinton and he's the only reason why my girlfriend and I will come back. He was knowledgable and sincere. To explain: my girlfriend had ordered the sirloin Tuscano, 10minutes later the waitress comes back to tell us, they ran out(the manager told us they have been out all day and that is waiter was told in the morning), so she ordered something new, not a huge deal, but her lack of time management and follow up regarding drinks was non existent. I can't tell if it was because she had too many tables or some other reason but when we saw another waiter sit a family down, take their order, feed them, service them, provide them with a check, and then sit an entire new family at that same table, and still service them before our waitress came back to check in on us at which point I was ready for the check and doggy bag. I'm guessing it was a one off so I will definitely try again another day.

Phone system gets you no where. The building design is nice. Ample parking for $6 (no thanks, I'll park down the street). The clerks behind the window need additional training. Either something is happening in her personal life or she needs to move on from the job. I had a rescheduled court trial date because of a bomb scare on November the 18 and found only they rescheduled me for December the 4th. I try calling several days, left messages, no answer. No call back. I show up today at 9:45 AM and wait in line to only be heard at 10:35 AM, only to be told it was already within 10 business days and they can't change the date. Only a judge wait a walk in can change it but don't come back from lunch until 1:30pm and I probably won't be heard until 3:30pm. I have to be at work this afternoon so I can't stay. Best tip. Park on street, arrive at 7:55 (even though they open at 8:30).
