That's kind of like Charlie/Charlette/same gator, down at the Port Aransas Wildlife Refuge in Texas. Charlie was thought to be male, for many years, until she popped a nest of eggs, at nearly 50. She was a frequent visitor at the picnic grounds, perfectly happy to let small kids ride her in exchange for saltines & a dab of peanut butter. One of the rangers there had even taught her several tricks normally performed by short legged dogs. Charlie was quite sociable, even after having babies, and had no problem introducing her hatchlings to people.
