Do you #compost all of your #food waste? Would you be more likely to do so if you had curbside pick up? What if there were fines for not sorting compostables from other trash? Consider what's happening in #Seattle : http://gardenmentors.com/garden-help/media-events-news/seattle-food-waste-composting/
Food waste composting curbside isn't new in Seattle in 2015, but getting fined for not participating may happen soon. Learn more on this composting program.

There are non-toxic ways to remove unwanted #bees from your home or #garden and avoid getting stung in the process. Learn how & who to contact in #Seattle & beyond.

When #bees nest in the walls of our homes or in a high traffic area of our #garden , it may be necessary to remove them. Rather than try to kill them with a can of poison, there are other options - like hiring a professional #beekeeper to extract them without toxins, repair your carpentry & put your unwanted bees to work in other locations. Via +Garden Mentors inc
If bees nest in the walls of your home or busy garden spots, bee removal may be needed. Before spraying bee poison, consider poison free extraction options.

With bee numbers declining so much, and as they are one of the gardener's best friends, we should never think about killing them. Yours is the best advice, contact a local amateur or professional beekeeper and remove them to a more appropriate location. The bees can then get on with their vital jobs, pollinating and making honey.
