Kristen Phillips is our Patient of the Month for March!

"September of 2016 was such a huge life change for me. I struggled with my weight most of my adult life. I was only 27 years old and had spent most of my twenties overweight, unhappy and out of breath. When I got married I loved my pictures, but secretly wished I was a smaller bride. Now almost two years later I can finally go to the beach with my kids and not feel like everyone's looking at me. I can run around with my four year old and keep up, I no longer worry about being pre-diabetic. I tried for so long to diet and exercise and for every one step forward, I took five steps back. It was never ending! Bariatric surgery was the best decision of my life and I fully thank my mother who also had surgery for her push to do this and change my life. I love living life with my husband and kiddos and being able to keep up!" - Kristen Phillips
