Lou Jacobs famous clown career spanned over 60 years and much of that was with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. Selling this original rare and only one RBBB stand up display of Lou Jacobs to exist. This rare display has the original RBBB patent logo, “The Great Show on Earth”. This is a one of a kind rare piece of circus history. This piece has never been found before and rarer than majority of the circus posters. Found near Gibbstown, Florida by Sarasota where the Famous Ringling Museum is located. Gibbstown Florida is where many of the circus performers and staff would live during the off season winter months.

Jacobs was the first clown to ever appear on a postage stamp and was an iconic image for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.

He was well known as a marvelous inventor as he created most of his gags. He created the midget car that he squeezed his large 6′11′’ frame into, as well as a motorized bathtub that had a working shower head in which he also drove around under the circus tent. The figure has some blemishes here and there expected for its age. Please call 904-712-9465 for additional information.
