Waiting to see the Theatre West production of Plaza Suite. I've heard it's great. Love plays...

All right, my wordy friends: I need your help finding a word that has me stumped. At least, I think there's a word for this.
Let's say someone makes a statement that you think is dumb or highly unlikely. In reply, you purse and slightly offset or downturn your lips in a statement of mild contempt, and you expel air out your nose, the opposite of a sniff that doesn't go so far as to be a snort. What do you call that anti-sniff?

I've signed up -- Joel Friedlander is great, so I'm hoping Yaro Starak's presentation will be great as well.
On Wednesday, an event I've waited years to bring you. Find out how you can combine blogging, self-publishing, and internet marketing to really make some money at this crazy game.

We visited with our son in Joshua Tree, CA, for a few days and decided to tour the National Park again. The weather was beautiful and I enjoyed seeing the numerous lizards, birds, and people visiting the park. If you haven't been to Joshua Tree Park, it's like going to Mars. The landscape seems so alien -- wonderful and surprising at every turn. The Joshua trees, for which it's named, are fascinating, but for us it is the rock formations that make the park so wonderful. We saw a bobcat on our last visit; alas, not this time, but we had a great time. The selfie was taken at C&S Cafe -- the best breakfast spot in Yucca Valley.

I don't know how I feel about this news, although I know I'll buy a copy of Harper Lee's "new" book when it is released.

Here's a smile for those who've read my Bruce and Friends books: Remember Chef Agatha Moss who won the cooking competition with help from Bruce in Bruce and the Road to Honesty? Now Agatha has gained more fame: Her recipe for the winning dish, Wild Mushroom and Barley Stew, has been featured online, with enlarged quantities so humans can enjoy it, too, by Mom's Choice -- the great company that honors excellence in family media, products, and services. You can see Agatha's recipe by clicking below.
