Cleaning ship hulls can mean long nights spent at sea, so it’s a rare thing to get the HullWiper team all in one place at the same time. The GAC EnvironHull UAE gang recently made the most of a three-day window to take some time out from eco-friendly hull cleaning and enjoy a well-deserved get-together onshore.

SOUTH AFRICA:
Metadidomi [Greek] - to share, impart or bestow a gift. Every year, Nelson Mandela International Day inspires people to ask what they can do to make the world a better place. This year, GAC’s Africa Regional Office sponsored R10,000 worth of much needed items for Kraaiftontein Tehuis, a home that has cared for financially-disadvantaged aged and disabled people since 1997. They provide 24 hour nursing services, practical training to home-based caregivers and voluntary and community services to learning institutions. The donation was handed over by GAC’s Jean Richmond seen here with Rooney Savile of Kraaifontein Tehuis and one of the residents of the house.
