"And that was exactly my reaction when I saw an advertisement promoting Holy Week in Oaxaca. One of shock and utter disbelief. One would think that if the government of Oaxaca was promoting tourism geared towards foreigners, that it would be more sensitive to their culture. Although, Americans are not the only tourists targeted in this promo, the majority do come from the United States with a whopping 55% share of total international passengers visiting the country." I honestly did not expect to like this film, thus the reason it took me this long to watch it (several months after the movie premiered). And even after my nephew RAVED about the movie, I was hesitant. Perhaps it was my utter disgust with film companies trying to “milk” as much of a franchise out, regardless of quality.

Flashbacks of how New Line Cinema managed to butcher “The Hobbit” into a “trilogy”, merely for their own personal gain at the expense of the stupidity of the people who bought into it, came to mind. I certainly did NOT want that to happen to the beloved Harry Potter franchise even though Warner Brothers got away with it in "Deathly Hallows".

However, the film “Fantastic Beast and Where to Find Them” clearly had more up its sleeve than a mere adventure-packed movie. In large part, it's love for creatures and the back story regarding the importance of nurturing and caring for animals in need through Newt Scamander's animal rescue mission is what has made this the BEST Movie I have seen in a very long time! This movie gets an A+ in my book!

"Memes on Twitter blasted Romney for having dinner with Trump and 'selling his soul to the devil' that evening but it clearly was the other way around. You see, it was in Donald Trump’s best interest to make it seem as though he was playing nice. We all know Trump’s vindictive personality and this was no exception. The problem for Trump is that HE called Romney, not the other way around. And it was HE who paid for dinner that night, not Romney. In other words, it is Donald Trump who has been sucking up to Mitt Romney this entire time."

While thousands of Cuban immigrants arrive in Mexico, Central and South America daily in their attempt to reach the United States, Senators Rubio and Cruz have proposed NOTHING to stop the influx of Cubans from arriving and getting automatic legal status upon entering the United States, CHEATING their way through the legal system. However, both Senators are quick to propose "securing our borders" to stop illegal immigration from other countries. For Rubio and Cruz, Cubans are welcome while immigrants from other Latin American countries are not.

I agree 100%!
"What I’m worried about is that we’ve arrived at a point where YouTube (and The Verge) thinks we should be paying for YouTube videos. YouTube videos! Has YouTube seen YouTube videos? YouTube videos are, by and large, hot stinky garbage. But we watch them, because they are free garbage. And we love free things! Humans have loved free things for a long time. Probably since humans were invented. So sure, we’ll watch some screaming teen open a virtual pack of FIFA cards. We’ll peep a dweeb playing Last of Us. We’ll learn the difference between girls and guys from a massive Internet company’s video department. Because we’re not paying for any of it!

"But now YouTube has evolved to a place where it has a stable of very successful stars, who have obsessive fan bases and who are becoming certified Celebrities, so they think that they should now start charging us to watch these dopes? No. Absolutely not."

"Every time a renegotiation of carriage fees comes to light, cable and satellite companies are obliged to renegotiate their affiliation agreements with the networks. Just think about how many times your favorite TV show and channel were pulled from your television screen because the networks wanted more and more money. How many messages flickered on your television screen, urging you to call your cable or satellite provider to avoid the blackout.

"Yet, the networks never told you, the consumer, how much your monthly bill would increase by giving into their demands. All you wanted was your favorite television show. However, when your cable bill finally arrived in the mail, you called your cable provider to complain and demand an explanation as to why your monthly bill increased although your services remained the same."
