My podcast literally changed my life and I want to share that same gift with others.

I owe a great deal to a conference and a community called PodFest. Each year they host a conference in Orlando to help budding podcasters learn the craft and seasoned podcasters improve.

The problem is many folks want to start a podcast but just don't have the resources. They don't have a community to help them get started.

Their voice could literally change the world for others but financially it's impossible to get the education they need to launch.

I wanted to help in a small way to remove those barriers. So I asked the conference organizers if I could pay for a ticket for someone to attend who couldn't afford it. The idea took off and other podcasters have joined in to help. The fund has grown. It's an incredibly amazing thing.

At this year's PodFest in Orlando, I'll be giving a talk on monetization. In addition to the strategies I use for my shows, I would love to hear from this community on ways you've monetized your show. Anyone have some outside-the-box ideas that have worked for you?
