Last month, GW Hospital became the first hospital in the world to use this robotic system in a colorectal surgery. "You can really tailor the tumor removal and spare as much tissue as possible," explained Arjun Joshi, MD. With this approach, patients experience a much quicker recovery time. While the results aren't indicative of a breast cancer diagnosis, they can raise red flags. “It means you have an increased risk. It means there are things we need to be doing to better take care of you to help keep you healthy,” explains Stark.
