The 10 Most Badass Adventures of 2016
This past year we saw daring adventurers rewrite world records, struggle mightily against the harshest environments, and perform feats no one had ever seen. Luke Aikins dropped out of the sky without a parachute. Lael Wilcox crossed America on a bicycle faster than any other woman ever had (and beat a field of men in the process). Melissa Arnot became the first American woman to climb Everest without oxygen. From the deserts of the West to the mo...

Peaceful Drone Footage from a Journey Through Iceland
Filmmaker Jonathan Scott set out on a journey through Iceland to explore the wilderness, but what he found surprised him. In the sparsely populated areas of the Westfjords, he found solitude like he'd never expected, and there were days that went by without seeing another soul. Inspired by the mesmerizing nature that surrounded him, he was able to create this video, Alone in Vestfirðir. Find more from Scott on his Youtube channel here.

We just bought our 2nd fifth wheel from Fun Town and Junior Santos was our salesman both times. He has went above and beyond for us and made this process so easy. If you are looking to buy a camper give Junior a call. We highly recommend him. Thanks again

I picked up a new Vibe 268RKS this last Saturday in Cleburne. The sales assistance was patient and the financing process went smoothly. The orientation was also professional and thorough, we are rookies. And when I needed the load leveler adjusted I took it out their facility in Giddings. The staff was absolutely terrific, knew exactly what to do and the trailer and Expedition are now much more stable.

Thanks for the kind review, Peter. Let us know if we can do anything else for you as you learn about your new trailer. Welcome to the Fun Town family!

My husband & I purchased a Wildwood 28dbud by forest river with lg slide. Our salesman Christopher did a first rate job...all from sales to finance to service did an excellent job! Problems we had were resolved and they went above what was required of them..best buying experience we have had with lg purchase.!!!

Purchased a RV from here and the whole process has been a nightmare. First off after purchasing the camper and scheduling pickup they didn't have anything ready that day and let me drive down there just to find out I had to schedule another time. Of course nothing like driving 2 hour round trip to find this out. Next they didn't hook the ac up correctly to the right size breaker or it's a faulty product because it pops the breaker even running on the lowest setting. So I call in and they point me to service and service is months out so I can't even use my camper I guess this summer. Call back to sales who sold me this product but they don't do anything other than say it has to go to service. So it just shows me this company does not stand behind their products. I wouldn't purchase anything from here again based on everything that has happened so far. So just an update I did check the AC information and it should have been installed on a 20 amp breaker but it's on a 15 instead. I have tried to get in touch with the service center but they have told me they will call me back 4 times and I still have not heard anything. You'd think something that was installed incorrectly would take priority but I'm not holding my breath.

Mr. Hetherington, In all fairness, on your scheduled day of delivery the unit you purchased was ready for you to take. The reason you weren't able to take it is because your bank failed to wire the funds for your purchase. We are unable to release a unit without securing payment. Had you purchased it outright or used our financing sources, we would have been able to deliver it on the spot. As far as the air conditioning unit goes, it worked fine during the inspection that we did before you picked it up in April. This is our busiest season, so unfortunately our service department is backed up, but I will have one of our technicians call you to see if he can talk you through some solutions to what might solve your issue. We do appreciate your business and will try to help you get this problem solved.

I would not recommend this place to anyone! We bought our travel trailer from the Houston location (it is actually in Wharton, about a 2 hour drive) I wish I had taken the time to research the dealer as much as the particular trailer we wanted. Should have known from the beginning, when the salesman lied to us about a delivery date. We wanted the trailer by a particular date. The salesman ensured us that if we put down a deposit, the trailer would be delivered in 4 weeks because he would call the manufacturer and make sure our specific choices for the trailer would be put in one of the trailers already "on the line" of manufacturing. Needless to say, that was the first lie. We called the week of what we thought was the delivery week only to be told that there must have been some kind of misunderstanding because our trailer wasn't due to be delivered until 4 more weeks, 8 weeks total! Of course, our deposit was non-refundable, so we waited. Our salesman never even owned up to lying to us. We didn't deal with him any more, but our new salesman would only say that "that date was never told to you. It's not possible." Anyway, after having the trailer for a couple of months, some issues came up. My husband called the service department and was told that Fall was their busiest time of the year for repair work and we should wait to bring it in after December (we wanted it for hunting season). We use our trailer almost every weekend, so it was June before we called the service department again. We are told again it their busiest time of the season. Gary told me it would be 2 weeks AFTER we dropped the trailer off before it would even be put in a service bay to be looked at. I waited 3 weeks after dropping it off to call and check on the progress. It was still just sitting, on their lot, not looked at yet. He said he would put it on the board for that Thursday. I called on Friday, and Gary told me it had not gotten in a service bay yet because his boss, Bandy, kept putting other trailers before ours. I asked him why he told me at drop off it would take 2 weeks to get it in a service bay, but yet here it was almost 4 weeks later and it was still sitting, waiting. He said "as it states in the contract, it could take 4 to 8 weeks just to get it in a service bay." I asked "then why did you lie to me and say it would be two weeks?" I didn't get a copy of a contract when I dropped off the trailer. How would I know what it says? Anyway, this kind of service and excuses went on for another week until I finally just got angry one day and hung up on him. My husband handled it from that point on. He made several calls, given the same excuses. He finally contacted Forest River directly, and spoke to a representative. He was very helpful. Within a day or two, our trailer was in a service bay being repaired, finally! Unfortunately, it doesn't end there. When we got the trailer, we went straight out of town, camping. We found that 2 of the things are still not fixed! We don't want to take it back there, so not sure what we are going to do. Overall, THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NON- EXISTENT!

We bought our Forest River Columbus 9/29/15. We had set up a time to pick it up and when my husband and son went to get it they had to wait over 2 hours because they had not put the new washer/dryer in. Once my husband was able to get in and do a walk thru he found that the new washer had a dent in it and no one had bothered to tell him that. Of course they still wanted us to take it. Needless to say they pulled it out. We had to pay our repair man to put it in and they did reimburse us 4 weeks later. The first weekend we had it the toilet would bubble /clog when flushing it. I called and they did send a repairman out which took him 3 times to get it fixed but he did get it fixed. Our air conditioner went out twice. We again had our repairman come out and look and found that the data cable had a short in it. I called Forest River several times and left messages and finally got a hold of Ms Blackburne and she explained that I would have to pay the repairman, send them the invoice and 4 to 6 weeks later I would receive reimbursement. I also tried to tell Ms Blackburne the issues we had been having with it and she said yeah it happens. Then the toilet started acting up again so I called Funtown because I was tired of paying out of pocket when we were under complete warranty to see if they would send someone to our site and was told that they no longer send mobile units out to fix their merchandise. That we would need to call the manufacturer or bring it in. We live in our RV, so that's a little difficult to do. So less than a year later we have traded it in and bought another one. We are done with Funtown and I tell anyone that ask about buying a new one not to go there because they do not take care of the customer.

Mrs. Broxterman, I'm sorry to hear of the issues you had with your purchase. At the time you purchased your 5th wheel, you acknowledged that you would bring it back to us if you needed repairs. We sent a repairman out initially because you had just purchased it, but could not continue to do so everytime something went wrong. When your Ford truck needs repair under warranty, they don't come fix it in your garage. You either drive it to the dealership or pay to have it towed. We are more than willing to fix anything, but you have to bring it to us. The fact that you are living in an RV that is designed for recreational use is going to cause things to wear out more often, and you will run into the same issues in your new one no matter who you buy it from. I wish you the best with your new purchase.
