Consider Invisalign® to get the beautiful straight teeth you have always dreamed of – without metal braces. A complimentary consultation with our team of doctors can help you determine if Invisalign is right for you.

What is it?

Invisalign is a system that uses a personalized series of invisible, removable, and comfortable aligners that no one can tell you are wearing. So, you can smile with ease during and after treatment. Invisalign aligners are made using 3D computer imaging technology and have been proven effective. More than 70% of orthodontics in the Unites States and Canada are certified to treat with Invisalign.

Why would I want it?

Not only are the aligners invisible, they are removable, so you don’t have to worry about what you eat or drink during your treatment. No metal wires also means less sitting in your dentist’s chair getting adjusted. Invisalign also offers a way to view your own virtual treatment plan so you can see what your teeth will look like when you’re done with the treatment.

How does it work?

You will wear a set of aligners for approximately two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move slowly but surely week by week, until they have straightened to their final positions. About once every six weeks you will come in for a visit to ensure that you are making the planned progress. Your total treatment time will be around nine to 15 months, and the number of aligners worn during treatment is around 18 and 30, but both numbers vary case to case.

Invisalign Teen is a great options for the teen in your life who may be bummed about having to wear braces to correct their smile!

Routine dental exams are important to maintaining healthy teeth and gums. Additionally, they can help to avoid the financial costs associated with problems that may persist or worsen over time resulting in larger and more expensive problems later on. The Academy of General Dentistry recommends twice yearly checkups for people of all ages. At this frequency, most problems can be caught while they remain in an early stage.

If you are self-conscious because you have missing teeth, wear dentures that are uncomfortable or don’t want to have good tooth structure removed to make a bridge, talk to your dentist to see if dental implants are an option for you.
Dental implants are a popular and effective way to replace missing teeth and are designed to blend in with your other teeth. They are an excellent long-term option for restoring your smile. In fact, the development and use of implants is one of the biggest advances in dentistry in the past 40 years. Dental implants are made up of titanium and other materials that are compatible with the human body. They are posts that are surgically placed in the upper or lower jaw, where they function as a sturdy anchor for replacement teeth.
Most patients find that a dental implant is secure, stable and a good replacement for their own tooth. There are generally three phases to getting an implant:

A child’s first visit to the dentist should be enjoyable. Children are not born with a natural fear of the dentist, but they can fear the unknown. Our office makes a special effort to use pleasant, non-frightening, simple words to describe each treatment. We want you and your child to feel at ease from the moment your family arrives at our office. The more you and your child know about the first visit, the better you will feel.
Getting your child familiar with the dentist before their first visit is important. Using activities to help you and your child talk about the dentist such as reading and coloring are great ways to familiarize children with what to expect at their dental visit and to help them associate good oral habits with fun! Below are some of our favorite children’s books and downloadable coloring sheets to help parents and teachers introduce children to oral health and the dentist.
