Introducing Image-based lookups in Squish 6.3 allowed users to interact not only with some complex graphical objects in the application under test but with other elements displayed on the screen. We can imagine a situation where a user wants to interact with them while the AUT is not running (e.g to do some pre-configuration on a test environment).

Read more about this in our weekly tip: https://www.froglogic.com/blog/using-image-based-lookups-without-running-aut/

Live on Nov. 27: Behavior-Driven Test Development for Java desktop applications

In this webinar, we will demonstrate Squish's integration of Gherkin and Python, allowing you easily to do behavior driven test development (BDD), and interactively record missing steps on AWT or SWT Java Applications.
In addition, we will demonstrate a new feature of Squish: image-based search, allowing you to interact with graphical rectangles that fall outside of your Application Under Test (AUT).
