My 4 year old recently started going to this school and loves it! He is in Ms Sophia's class, she is Caring Loving and treats all the kids like her own! Administrative staff is very friendly, nice and of course director Ms. Tasneem who is always on top of everything. If your kid wants to go to a school everyday that's the sign that it's the Best school! Thanks everyone!Keep up this spirit!

My son is in Ms Sophia's class and she is a superb teacher. He was going to a well known Montessori in Frisco and did not learn anything. But since he is going to Frisco Trail Montessori we saw a difference. He knows his numbers, reading and writing. Thanks to Ms. Sophia, Ms Julia and the wonderful director Ms. Tasneem. They all are doing a wonderful job.

My son has been going to Frisco Trails Montessori for 2 years now and he absolutely loves his school. The teachers are very caring and hardworking and my son has learnt a lot in past 2 years. The administration staff is also very supportive and it feels like one big happy family. I would highly recommend Frisco Trails.

First, let me say that my child attended this school for several years and had an overall decent experience. Just prior to leaving during the summer session of 2013, there was a slow steady decent in overall quality that coincided with a change in leadership and many teachers. When the head of the school, Ms Davey, was about to leave her post, the ownership decided it was time to personally take over as the leadership staff and infuse teachers into the program that would support a Gestapo type approach to dealing with students and parents. I was so relieved that my child was ready for kindergarten at the time or we would have changed Montessori schools. This was confirmed when my child looked at me the last day of school and said," thanks dad...I'm glad that's over". In other words, do not enroll your child at this school at any cost or you will suffer the consequences of a tormented child. What used to be fun and educational is now a down trodden infusion of overly strict disciplinarians and anti american beliefs being fed to the young and innocent. The teacher turnover is horrendous and the overall quality of the teachers is subpar. The most notable points regarding the instructors are irregular attendance and anger management issues. Not to mention, for some odd reason, almost all Asian, Anglo, African American and Latino children left the school in droves. Again...Parents Beware!!!

My 8 year old son, who is now a third grader and my 5 year old daughter, who will be starting kindergarten this year, both went to Frisco Trails Montessori. We had a wonderful experience with Frisco Trails and would highly recommend this school to anyone currently living in or new to the Frisco area. Frisco Trails administrative staff and owners are very accessible and extremely communicative with parents. The teaching staff made my children's experience very pleasurable and showed genuine care and interest in my child's academic achievement and emotional development. My daughter has developed such a bond with her teacher Ms. Hema, that it will be hard for her to leave this year. My third grade son is an avid reader and works well above his grade level in math and though my daughter is just leaving Frisco Trails to attend kindergarten, I know she will excel due to the care and development she received from her teacher Ms. Hema and the staff at Frisco Trails. Again, I highly recommend Frisco Trails Montessori to anyone looking for a Pre-K school. Jason Huffenberger

Our child has attended Frisco Trails Montessori since 2010. I agree with other reviewers that the original director, Melissa, was outstanding, and that the overall experience of the school suffered in the months after her departure. However, as parents (and grandparents) who are very physically present at the school, we have always been pleased with the caring environment and the quality of the education. By physically present, I mean that one parent or grandparent has walked inside the building at least twice, every school day, for almost four years. We also occasionally drop in during class to observe through the one-way windows. It's true that our teacher is one of the favorites, and rightly so. She is outstanding and clearly loves her work and loves the kids. I cannot speak for the experience of others, but we've always received a warm welcome every morning, and we've been given ready access to our teachers, as well as the director on the rare occasions we felt the need. On enrollment, we were given our own access code to the front door. We've always been respectful to avoid disrupting the school day, but we have never been denied entry at any time. It's true that the kids are taught to walk in a line in respectful silence when moving through the hallway. Perhaps some would define this as "gestapo" tactics, but I define it as orderly, and a good lesson in honoring the learning environment. This year, our child's grandmother has become a volunteer for a reading program where she sits with and listens to individual students reading aloud. She's at the school one morning each week. This has given her the chance to see a lot more of what goes on. In her words: "We feel so fortunate to have our grandchild attend FTM and to have the fine teachers that she's had through the Toddler, Transitions, and Primary levels. As a volunteer I have had the chance to see all of the fantastic activities that she is exposed to in addition to regular classroom work, including Spanish, Art, Music, and computer classes which she loves. This is the experience that every parent or grandparent would want for their children. Your warm greeting each morning and the "Celebration of Life" poster that is displayed for each child on their birthday gives us the feeling of love and family. Our thanks to you and the staff for this environment for our little one. Keep up the good work."

My child has been going to FTM for more than a year and I have to say that it has been a great experience. Not only is the facility excellent, they have a strong focus on academics. I am amazed on how much my child has learnt in such a short time. Teachers here really care e.g. make sure that he finishes his lunch and he typically comes home really happy.
