Don't think that they treat you differently if you are a member. I am a Platinum Member, and nearly every time I go, there are problems. I joined while they were still under construction, I have tried multiple times to make it work. You will call and ask for a reservation, then when you show up they have no record of your reservation. the staff and management is patronizing when you try to talk to them. Today I was with a guest sighting in a rifle. The lane next to us was down and not working. I used the bay that was "down" to spot his shots at 100 yards. After 20 minutes of spotting, a big guy came in and said "My manager said that you only paid for one lane." there was literally no other lane being used in the rifle bay, and I was sitting at the bench of the broken lane, but was told that I would be charged for using a second lane if I didn't move. I asked for a refund of my membership, and was told that since I was there using it, they could not refund the membership. I asked them to not charge my card in November when it renews, but was told that I have to send it in writing. Canceling my card so I don't have to talk to them again.

My husband and I took the Beginners Handgun class and it was the best time we've had in awhile! Classroom portion was informative and helpful. Range portion was super fun and helped us both get an idea of a firearm we'd be comfortable with. Shout out to Crawford! Super knowledgeable and personable. Gave good tips and was encouraging. We went on a Friday night, walked in and were directed to the classroom. No fuss, no confusion, no wait. Great facility, great people, great service! Thanks Frisco Gun Club!

We had an 1 hour 1 on 1 class with Chance. Great guy, wonderful staff, very patient with dealing with my son, great help in trying out guns, as well as giving good recommendations and advice. Taught us how to disassemble, and clean the gun we plan to buy. Thanks to Chance we had a great time, we will be back in the new year to buy a gun and hat a membership!

I went to the Frisco Gun Club for the first time in October 2016. I cannot remember the name of the man that helped me but he was great. It was slow that day, Thursday afternoon I think and he spent a lot of time with me since I told him I really had very little experience with hand guns. He walked me through all safety steps before taking me to a lane. The experience was so great I bought a hand gun similar to the one I used that day and plan to go back often. I may buy a membership after more future visits.

I've tried to like this place, but the only good thing about it is the location. If you're not a $500/year member, the staff will treat you like a second class citizen piece of crap. The gun prices are consistently $50-$100 higher than any other retail gun store, but there's rarely anyone who stops to help you look at something anyways. Unless you plan on dropping $500 for a membership, I'd go to bass pro and use one of their $10 lanes, where the staff is actually happy you're there and willing to help you.

Not a good place to shoot. Very unsafe, and scary. They have already landed themselves on the news when one of their own accidentally shot themselves on the hand. Employees should all be retrained on customer service. Staff is rude, and typically have a "take it or leave it" attitude. There is NO excuse for the lack of safety at any range. The only reason I can see why this place gets any business is the fantastic location. However, if a competitor ever opens up nearby, FGC will be in hot water. Some changes I would like to see is management.

Most unsafe gun range I have been to. I actually duck when I drive by the place because it is so unsafe. No RSO's present and when they are they have no knowledge. It is only time before someone gets seriously hurt (more than the few already hurt) at this place. The place is run by non-gun people and they have no clue. Food is good. No retail because they could not figure that out either. Plus there is no money in the retail part so they decided to get out of it. Plus they hired retail managers with no gun experience and ruined the retail opportunities. For gun novice this place may seem great but I am telling you this place is very unsafe. I live around the block and shoot multiple times a week. I will never go back to this place after a very unsafe situation happened. I drive 15 miles to go to a good range. This place is not worth your life.

CC - Apologies for your experience. I'd like to invite you to come in sometime and let's talk face to face and see if we can improve your experience. Many of the things you stated in your review are simply not true, and it is unfortunate when that happens. Email us at info@friscogunclub.com and setup a time to speak with one of our 2 senior managers. Thanks

A friend and I had a great time in the handgun class tonight. Chase and Steve were great when we went to the range. Good information/instruction and they made the class safe but still fun. We were able to shoot several different calibre handguns and get comfortable with shooting. With the variety available we were able to see which guns we prefered and which we disliked. Great class!
