I love my job. One of the reasons is because I advocate for my clients until we get a (very) favorable result.
Case in point: Client is rear-ended with major force and sustained significant injuries. The insurance adjuster decides - and I quote -"since there was little or no damage to the vehicles involved we question whether your client could have reasonably sustained the injuries described..." and DENY the claim. Thank you professor / doctor adjuster for your "professional" opinion.
Fact: The photo of the car does not do justice and the vehicle sustained many thousands of dollars in damage including FRAME damage. I like to compare this to the police officer who sustains internal injuries after his bullet proof vest stops the bullet from entering his body.
Fact: Injury can occur regardless of the damage shown on the vehicle. (Compare: Steel vs. Flesh).

No problem. Lawsuit is immediately filed. (By the way, is this insurance carrier really protecting the person they are insuring by allowing a lawsuit to proceed instead of amicably resolving?)
After proceeding with the necessary strategical moves in litigation, the defense and insurance see that they screwed up ROYALLY. They pay out the FULL value of the claim (and then some). Justice served. Next...
