I've seen some real whoppers about municipal broadband systems before, but the idea that they are more apt to block content than incumbents is definitely top 3 material.

It's almost like giving a giant bag of money to incumbents and taking away what few rules they have to play by doesn't actually do much to encourage broadband deployment and adoption.
