Be Smart and Improve Website Visibility for Mobile

Welcome to the new Blackwood.Productions and family. Blackwood Productions has been hard at work over the past couple months evolving our innovative SEO methodologies into a quick and easy to install plugin. A couple of the biggest changes besides the design is W3C validated and Mobile Ready.

Our Mobile Ready updates could not be coming any sooner. Google is set to launch a new Mobile-Friendly Ranking Factor to Search Ranking On April 21st. This is a big deal for all of us both mobile validated and not validated.

If your online company can not pass as a mobile ready site then your domain will be dropped from Mobile search queries. Seeing as the populace of the USA takes up 30% of total search, regardless the industry. This means a large segment of the search segment will not be able to find your site. With Bing / Yahoo up in search shares to 36% it would also be a good idea to optimize for these search engines as well.

John Mueller of Google said 61% of users are unlikely to return to a mobile site they had troubles with. 40% said they’d visit a competitor’s mobile sites instead and a whopping 55% would give up caffeine to keep their phones.

This will be a big year in Google search updates and you can stop by 9seo.com to check on the predictions to be expected from Google in 2015.
