Even if you don't need a new todo list app, Clear is worth its $0.99 just for playing with the interface:

Using swipes and gestures instead of buttons and pulldowns is a nice idea, I just wish it had an iPad counterpart that it would sync with…

Now I have seen the video I really have to try it :)

Ok, so I am just wondering why the gesture based thing is so important? I struggle so much with huge canyon between desktop and mobile platform as it is. Now there is this huge push to move everything to gesture based and I really don't understand why it is the bomb?

Frederic, Thanks. It would be good to just standardize both desktop and mobile clients so us old farts can spend time doing what we need to do, not learning a different platform or system. I agree that mobile is the way things are moving.

The mobile application space is still young, compared to the desktop systems…so they are experimenting, trying out new ideas, new ways of doing things, different approaches due to touch interfaces and all that…

Some will stick and change the way we use these devices and services, others will fade away…
