Fred is currently developing 2020F, a global community to help
identify, track and find ways to minimize risk/maximize opportunity of
disruptive events that shape our global community.
His experience includes analyzing businesses, markets and products,
figuring out what makes them work, or fail, and developing creative
solutions to encourage them to work better. This involves looking at how
trends and events influence strategic business planning, social media
strategies, corporate and product market development,
information/analytical methodologies and cross-organization
In addition to 2020F, he is the Managing Director of the McClimansGroup
and serves as an advisor and consultant to a variety of emerging and
established businesses, including web-based CurrentAnalysis.com, a
global market intelligence firm which he founded in 1997.
An award winning author and speaker, Fred published his first book on
networking in 1991 and has published over 200 editorials and articles on
technology, business strategies and global market trends (including
through IDG and CNN online).
His current writing focuses on the role of influence and disruptive
events in business and society. He was also a contributing author to
"SHIFT & RESET: Strategies for Addressing Serious Issues in a
Connected Society" by Brian Reich (2011, Wiley & Sons).
