Thank you to The British Plastics Federation and Plastics Europe for an excellent event in London last week. The event was a great opportunity to hear about plastics recycling, stemming the flow of plastic waste into the North Sea and also the future of packaging design.

As production methods and materials continue to evolve in the plastics and packaging industry, we're working hard to make sure that our static control equipment maintains production efficiencies and operator safety.

Thank you @ConverterMag for covering our sponsorship of @net_telecoms and their #taliskerwhisky #atlanticchallenge #2018.

When Mark visited our Bampton HQ, we couldn't believe that he would be tackling the Atlantic Ocean in such a small boat. Training is underway though, and we're looking forward to the big day in 2018 !

Sweden based Melitek has joined Fraser’s fast-growing network of International Partners and Distributors. With Melitek’s existing network of manufacturing industries they will provide sales and support for Fraser’s market-leading static control products across Scandinavia.

Melitek will focus on Fraser’s static elimination equipment used in industries such as converting and labelling. Static caused by faster processes and an increased use of synthetic substrates and UV inks in these industries can lead to dust attraction and associated product rejection or misprinting.

For most of us, static electricity is an unwanted part of the manufacturing process. Not only does it affect quality and efficiency, but it can also be a safety hazard.

On behalf of the British Printing Industries Federation (BPIF), Antalis UK and the Independent Print Industries Association (IPIA), John Bagby from Fraser will be delivering a workshop to help employees understand how to manage static during the digital printing process.

Attendees will also receive a £50 voucher that can be used to purchase products from Fraser Anti-static Techniques.
