Across North East America
I'm at a gas station that still rent videos. A car next to me is blasting World War II era music as I skirt the border of New York and Pennsylvania. This part of America seems happy as the locals go around in only American made cars and trucks without a worry. No diversity of people is visible, yet I enjoyed my short visit in this strange town.

TV Show: Mr. Robot
USA Network
The series is about a young cyber security engineer by day and a vigilante hacker by night. It tells the technological story to keep people with a strong technology-lust at bay. This show shares a similar format to my other now cancelled favorite TV show, Rubicon. With the exception that Mr. Robot moves at a faster pace. You may watch the first episode on YouTube for no charge.

Portrait Time
It was a good idea at first. Heading down to the portrait studio with mom and Canadian cousin in tow for mom's birthday present. A portrait with son and mom while visiting Atlanta. I like to think I'm a big deal in the family, but again I'm no match against a Canadian accent, a fancy dress and a pretty face. I think America should shut down the Canadian borders to prevent Canadians from ruining portrait time for American families.

Cookies
I am one to think the world would be a better place if we all had cookies and milk every afternoon. Then lay down for a nap and remove expiration dates on cookie boxes since they all never last that long.

BBQ Texas
Without the presence of a Bible. It is safe for me to say I would never eat from any New York restaurants with the word barbecue (BBQ) in its name or on the menu. From a BBQ restaurant outside of Dallas, Texas, the meat just drips off the bones. The ribs and brisket just melts in your mouth. All the steaks are too big for your eyes and stomach. Every bite immediately wakes your taste buds and a live country western band playing just reinforced the southern hospitality to my stomach and blood. Some say, [we] may all go to Hell, and I will go to Texas.

Baseball
Watching my hometown New York Yankees playing the Texas Rangers in a beautiful stadium. During a warm Texas night. This is a wonderful place filled with beautiful fans that understands the game. But I still wouldn't give up New York for all this.

Was A Number
I used that barcode thing on my smartphone to board a flight. I was satisfied with the scanning process and thought I was just a number to them until the flight attendant thanked me by my name. What?! I love magic.

I think Delta gets "tech" right.  travel is very personal.

personally I think Google NOW gets it right with now.  You don't need individual app as it will bring up all travel information.

Movie: Tomorrowland
This showing is not what you want in a futuristic movie and It will not take you away on an adventure like classic books does to your mind. Instead, this would make a great two plus hours of a propaganda message for a political party or making this planet whole again. When movies are used for this purpose, it often makes me angry because it takes away from an experience that movies are supposed to create.

The Making of Angels
We see them on the beaches during the Olympics and collegiate venues streaming across the TV screen to entertain us with their skills. These women are manufactured or trained in facilities found in industrial parks in California and Texas at an early age. The very same infrastructure that is used to build American products. That mindset is now building volleyball angels.

Romeo and Juliet
You know the story of these two already. Here at a local repertory company to give some Shakespeare love. The crew was creative in telling this story and this story stills gets the best of me. Go out and support your local repertory because they can generate tears too.

Eating here with friends was a good experience with the selection of food and service.

We arrived at the hotel and two police cars were in the parking lot. I entered the lobby, approach the front desk. They could not find my name or of my parents. I provided both reservation numbers and to our surprise, they had no rooms for us. We booked the rooms two weeks in advanced and in the end had to take our money and loyalty to another hotel. They cancel all reservations that have not checked in at 8PM. They also have all my contact information. They could have called me before upsetting someone’s life? A room reservations is not a luxury in a strange city nor is it a right, one would hope a reservations is a trust. A trust for shelter instead of abandonment at midnight. Yet, I wonder if those police cars were there for other unhappy customers who were thrown in the streets also.

"Fooding" is Good I never try to get excited about eating out for breakfast anymore. Somehow, having a great experience with food was the primary focus I felt from "Country Kitchen" in Pelhem. Nothing was spicy, bland or over salted like other chain restaurants. The pan cake too could hold is own. Seven hours later, I am still thinking about the good food and environment.

We stopped going here. Service is now horrible and it started taking between 17 to 20 minutes to get our food after ordering on numerous occasions. We complained then to the new manager. We got great service that day and it faltered on our next visits. We now go elsewhere when in White Plains.
