For #TBT we travel back to the good ole' days when cars would trip the "ding, ding!" bell and smiling, uniformed full service gas station attendants would run out and greet customers with "Fill 'er up?" The era of someone airing up our tires, topping our fluids and washing our windows while we chilled in the car ended with the 70's and skyrocketing gas prices, when consumers chose the less convenient but cheaper "self-serve" approach.

They were born with motor oil in their veins and wrenches in their hands. They have spent thousands of hours learning, researching and mastering their craft. They know cars inside, outside and upside down and they are fully committed to making sure that every car is fixed right, every time. Please join us today in thanking our hard-working technicians!

You know the ‘drill’, it’s #TBT! It was March of 1968 when boring began on the Eisenhower/Johnson Memorial Tunnel on Interstate 70, west of Denver. At an altitude of more than 11,000 feet, and cutting through over 1½ miles of Rocky Mountain terrain, the tunnel became the world´s highest vehicular tunnel when it was completed in 1979. Today, some 10 million vehicles drive through it each year.

This #TBT may be larger than it appears as we take a look in the rear view mirror, first used in the 1911 Indianapolis 500 by driver Ray Harroun who replaced his mechanic (they used to ride along to navigate) with the much lighter mirror. However, the earliest mentions of a mirror come from Dorothy Levitt’s book, 'The Woman and the Car' which noted that women should “carry a little hand-mirror when driving and occasionally raise it up to look behind them.”
