This morning I attended a course all about getting to know my borrowed country, the Netherlands. It was interesting, enlightening and gave me a new list of places I really want to see... It was also held in an amazing location, the beautiful Het Grachtenhuis museum. If you're also an expat or international resident in NL I highly recommend checking out www.dutch-discoveries.nl for more information!
Cycled into town to see the world's first MDMA shop, open for one day only. Admittedly, more a publicity stunt by the Jonge Democraten to get signatures for legalising XTC but it was very well executed with lots of people explaining exactly why they want the Dutch government to consider it. Who knows, maybe it will be another regular feature in Amsterdam soon...?

I'm a Londoner turned wanderer who has been nomadic since October 2011. I write a blog about travel, freelancing and following your dreams. I also write and self-publish fiction. And I write words for websites, magazines, brochures and blogs as a copywriter.
