Once they embrace compact camera manufacturing technologies (as opposed to traditional DSLR manufacture), it is relatively easy to make PENs or OM-D - there are fewer mechanical parts and there is less work needed in an EVF than aligning the focus screens and Phase Detect sensors for DSLR OVF.

They may or may not decline the E-P5 or they may need to find a different price segment for it (in which case it will not try to go head to head against the Fuji X series rangefinders which are way more chic).

The E-PM2 I love and bought - I feel they don't put any effort to marketing it. The E-PL5 is a sweet spot both in price and in smallness and no viewfinder hump - the two Body Cap Lens, the small primes and the two small zooms, the Panasonic and this new Olympus one, are just fine for it. These will head to head compete against the entry level NEX and Fujis and Nikon Series 1 and Canon EOS-M

Maybe the P5 will rapidly drop in price, second hand or new (nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more) - they launched it too close to the E-M1 date, they added nice features to the PEN for the P5 but not enough to sweeten it. It actually feels precious gem to hold - if you can get one at reduced price, it is a real nice keeper camera.
