I'll be on RPG Breakfast Club tomorrow. 9:00am CST / 16:00 CET (so, very late breakfast if you're in Europe like me). Come hear me and some folks gab about all sorts of RPG topics. https://discord.gg/GaXW2TX

When I played through Curse of Strahd a couple of years ago, I decided to go old-school and eschew all digital tools. I even kept a scrapbook style journal with my character sheet, lots of notes, maps, and handouts.

I rediscovered it recently, and served as a great memento of the campaign, so I thought I'd take some pics of it, and turn it into a blog post.

Long term podcast listener, and living-in-problematic-timezone-for-many-online-games-er, and occasional poster.

I've written a very silly one-shot scenario (for any ruleset) for Halloween and run it a couple of times for friends. You play candidates in a contest to be Dracula's new bride.

I decided to tart it up a little and release it. Hope it's ok to post about it here - I would very much welcome feedback. It's one thing to jot down some notes for yourself, and another to give guidance in writing on how to run such a thing.

The free version is on my blog (https://mottokrosh.com/posts/2018/10/a-bride-for-dracula/), and a nicely laid out PDF with a little extra art is on DriveThruRPG (https://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/256689/A-Bride-for-Dracula?src=gp1).

How about a silly Halloween one-shot? Largely system neutral, but definitely silly and fun. Bad boy Dracula wants a new bride and you're throwing your hat into the ring, whether you're a bona fide princess, or man's man John the carriage driver, who's definitely a man. I mean, just look at that mustache.

My first solo publication on DriveThruRPG. Show it some love if it's down your alley!

I wrote a silly Halloween adventure designed to be played in a single evening. Works with any flavor of D&D/OSR ruleset. It's very silly. https://mottokrosh.com/posts/2018/10/a-bride-for-dracula/

I finally ran my first session of this last night. I set the mood with candles and a (handily pre-existing) Spotify playlist. The first room took me a little while, but then we settled into a rhythm. Great game.

Tonight on mottokrosh.com, I talk to the people behind exciting RPG-like boardgame #LegendsUntold! Ok, I actually talked to them at the recent UK Games Expo, but here's the article finally, including an exclusive peak at part of the world map. https://mottokrosh.com/posts/2018/08/interview-with-inspiring-games/

Added four new illustrations to #HypertelluriansRPG - all remastered and reworked public domain pulp science fantasy ones, from tiny, tiny digital originals. Quite happy how they came out. 3 more to come very soon.
