Well... things go quick from beta into production, so probably not much use anymore to post here. A pity, since I also miss some good BC1 features in this release.

One thing though: I would have liked to have a heads-up on the pro features. I thought and would have expected the pro-license to be transferable. In stead one has to leave the BC 1 Pro app installed to have the pro-features activated. Or spend another dollar.
Is that too much? No, not in absolute terms although it is over 25% of the original price. But it's the principle that bothers me. Of course: buying an extension would be of great benefit to the development. Aw would any money do that people send to a company. But we already supported the development of the app. Hey, we even helped (if only for a few days) with beta development. With BC2 now prominently showing 'Go Pro' in the menu and the necessity to keep BC1 installed only lifted after payment, it feels as if I am no longer considered a loyal user. I do not understand this approach. But perhaps I am the only one...

Just my 2c.

I've always said that this is the problem with app development. The funds always run out - so if you develop apps commercially you need to keep an income to pay wages.

With the pay once, updates forever model, this runs out. Eventually you have every Android device on the planet with your app installed, and no you'll never earn another cent.

Interesting.

Bizar: een volgauto van de Tour slaat op hol en rijdt Johnny Hoogerland en Juan Antonio Flecha aan. Hoogerland vliegt zelfs tegen het prikkeldraad aan.

I am a very happy user of BC 1, so all in favour of testing out BC2. After playing around with it a bit, I found the following:

1) I did rather like the font used for BC 1 and would like to be able to choose that in BC 2
2) The functionality of the widget (one for all) is very nice and avoid clobbering up the widget list. However, it seems that there is a little bit too much "white space" surrounding the different items. Also I found that the colorbox does not change that much in in size.
3) A (imho) very disappointing change is removing the day view when entering an appointment. Yes, I know, it pops up when you create an event, but that is annoying. The old way, where the day is always in view (right side of the event) , was much, much better.
4) I was kinda hoping that this version would install itself as .ics handler, so that you could import ics files (for instance sent via mail) directly.

I'll try to alternate use of BC 1 and BC 2 the next couple of days and get back with more.
