In the last dev update of Google Chrome OS, you can allow the Search key to act as a Function key from chrome://flags.

Once you've done that, go to chrome://settings/keyboard-overlay and check "Use the Search key to access extended keybindings."

Finally, press <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Shift> + ? to display keyboard shortcuts and see all new features such as "Delete", "Home", "End" (and "Insert" soon).

Thanks for sharing, +François Beaufort.  Are the "Home" and "End" keys, here, capable of navigating to the end of a text box (like ctrl+end/home on Windows) or are these the same beginning/end of a line we've had with alt+up/down arrow?

Just tried and Home and End do not navigate to the edges of a <textarea> but do navigate to the edges of an <input>.

Bummer!  I'm beginning to think I might be one of five people who care about that shortcut . . .  Would you please help me differentiate between <textarea> and <input>?

Paste this into your omnibox:
data:text/html,<input value="I'm an input"><textarea>I'm a textarea</textarea>
Sal G

Thank You
