Last Chrome OS Dev Update gives us the ability to lock the experimental virtual keyboard so that it doesn't hide automatically each time we lose focus on a text field.

All you need to do is enable the chrome://flags/#enable-virtual-keyboard flag and long tap on the keyboard virtual key to show the full list of options as you can see in the screenshot below.

hmm virtual keyboards, trying to push Chrome OS on to tablets? Seems awesome.
 
I've been hanging out for a Chrome OS Tablet for more than a year, why so slow Google ?
