Has there been any changes regarding this issue? I had to stop using the external keyboard I used in college because of this, it's so annoying. Can't you just copy the code from Word? lol
It would be nice if OneNote supported accented characters in Samsung devices when using a physical keyboard. Samsung tablets and phones are now using Apple-like key combinations for accented characters (which are necessary in languages like French and Spanish). Thus, the letter "é" is made by typing Alt + E then E. Most apps are fine with this - including other Microsoft apps like Word. However, OneNote does not - it does not wait to complete the combination. When you type Alt + E it does not wait for a final character to combine with the accent and instead inserts the acute accent. Thus when I try to type the word "difficulté" it comes out "difficult´e".
