Franchesca Warren is the creator of The Educator's Room, where her focus is to show that the real experts in education are teachers. Using her experience in working in two urban school districts in roles ranging from Classroom Teacher to Instructional Coach, Franchesca is paving the way for teachers to "take the reigns" by influencing educational policy making and educational reform in the American public education system.
In February 2013, Franchesca decided that she wanted to use her voice of The Educator's Room as a vehicle to help teachers publish their own books and created the subset company, TER Publishing, LLC. Within one year the publishing side of The Educator's Room had published three books: Keep the Fire Burning: Avoiding Teacher Burnout, How to Finish the Test When Your Pencil Breaks and Behind the Desk: How I Survived My First Ten Years in Education to rave reviews.
An Instructional Coach, Teacher, freelance writer, wife and mom to three children, Franchesca's work has been featured on dozens of online and print publications, and she has handed over many nuggets of knowledge about what it means to be an educator in public education. On a weekly basis, The Educator's Room YouTube channel interviews educators from around the country to discuss issues impacting education.
In addition, Franchesca has has worked with brands such as Share My Lesson, Zoe's Kitchen, Cover Girl, Vanity Fair, Ringling Brothers, etc.
