An organization includes a whole group of people, from employees to partners to other forms of support and even customers. But entrepreneurs are often natural DIYers, self-starters who tend to go it alone. To get from one to the other, a business owner has to learn how to glue a company together. One of the lessons I’ve learned over the years is that teams win, individuals lose. In my years in the NFL, I saw that one great player is not enough for...

Great new article from +Shep Hyken on +SmallBizClub. Take a look.

Social media is a great customer service tool that is rarely used to its full potential. While companies may monitor sites such as Facebook and Twitter to know what customers are saying about them, they don't often take full advantage of those sites to deliver value-added content.

I took a chance on September 20, 1958 and that has made all the difference in my life.

Wake up everyday with a chip on your shoulder and a sense of desperation in your gut. Many times, that makes all the difference.

Click below to hear the story of my first game with the University of Georgia Bulldogs. I hope you can learn something from my experience.

The Vikings' 48-30 victory over the Eagles was the most encouraging game I've seen from the team in a long, long time. A lot of the credit has to go to Matt Cassel. He's proved himself to be a solid quarterback. He does what he's supposed to do and has made his teammates better this year. That is one of the most important traits for a quarterback.

Do a few good games mean the Vikings no longer need to worry about drafting a quarterback? Absolutely not.

Read my article on TwinCities.com, Vikings Need To Draft a QB to Grow Behind Matt Cassel, to see my thoughts on this year's draft. Let me know what you think in the comments section of this post. #SKOL

Was just reminded of my interview with a 5 year old +Tiger Woods on That's Incredible! So I thought I'd put it up. If you've never seen it, you should watch it. It was easy to see that Tiger would be great from an early age. Happy #ThrowbackThursday! #tbt
