Dammit!!! I was so looking forward to this.  The streak has to end some time, doesnt it!?!?  Perhaps the most disappointed is NBC.  The TV ratings would have been huge.
i was hoping he would have raced and then been sent to the glue factory the day after breaking his leg, oh well, maybe next time.
+Jason Jacobson I hope you are joking! This horse will not be going to the glue factory. Horses of this caliber don't get put down even for broken legs. His stud fees would be worth every penny spent on vet care. No, this fellow has a long life ahead of him making woopie with mares.
The horse's health comes first. Yes, NBC will just have to suck it up in the ratings.
the owner of that horse probably was paid many dollars not to race it.
